Open Text Fax Server, RightFax Edition 9.4 Feature Pack 1 Service Release 3

Open Text Fax Server Feature Pack 1 Service Release 3 is now available to download from the OpenText Knowledge Center. The service release updates Open Text Fax Server, RightFax Edition 9.4 installations that have already had FP1 applied. The service release also includes a number of enhancements:

This release adds support for notifications from the new HP multi-function printers, and provides a new silent installation that pushes the Rightfax client package to user workstations.

This release also offers Office 2010 support.  SSA sepported files formats used by the Conversion Engine are:

  • Microsoft Word, versions 2000, 2003, 2007, and 2010.
  • Microsoft Excel, versions 2000, 2003, 2007, and 2010.
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, versions 2000, 2003, 2007, and 2010.
  • Microsoft Visio, versions 2000, 2003, 2007, and 2010.
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, 7 or 8.
